The computer power supply is a closed independent component installed in the main box. Its function is to convert the alternating current into +5V, -5V, +12V, -12V, +3.3V, -3.3V and other different voltages, stable and reliable. Direct current is supplied to the system’s mother board, various adapters and expansion cards, hard drives, optical drives and other system components, as well as keyboards and mice in the main chassis.
