PENTAX is the general name of the composite business unit of HOYA’s cameras, digital cameras, astronomical telescopes, endoscopes, glasses, and other products, and is also the brand name of such products launched by TAG Heuer, formerly known as Japan. The famous optical company, PENTAX Corporation (ペンタックス Co., Ltd.). On March 31, 2008, PENTAX and TAG Heuer merged. Before that, PENTAX Technology Taiwan CoLtd, which was established in Taiwan, was dissolved. On July 1, 2011, Ricoh officially announced the acquisition of the Pentax Imaging Division of TAG Heuer.
